More Pictures from the Book Party…

Although it’s been some time since the book party, I’m still feeling the amazing energy from that night when I shared with everyone my reason for writing Matters of the Heart. Now that the book is out and I’m receiving feedback from my readers, I’m constantly reminded of that reason, and it’s a simple one: to offer teen girls a guidebook that can help them find their inner voice. More and more we hear of how teen girls are “lost” or depressed, willing to be who they’re not just to fit-in. Just a few weeks ago we heard of how 25% of all teens have some kind of STD. Even with these statistics, I still believe girls it’s never too late for teen girls to find the power to connect with their inner voice and start making choices based on the things that really matter… Enjoy the pictures and remember to …

Open your heart to what really matters…

    Your Book!!

Reading your book took me back to my teenage years..(I’m almost 27!!) and I wish I would’ve had a book like yours to read and understand that those “problems” that I was having at that moment were just not mine.. but yet, experienced by girls my age all around the world!

Moving from a different country to America, leaving my friends and family, not being able to speak English, and (plus) dealing with my parents’ divorce… I was feeling.. helpless!! (thank Goodness for my mother! :)

Although, this is a book for teenagers.. I must say that there are issues that as a women are still difficult to overcome no matter how old you are and by reading the book I was reminded of who I am.. and most importantly .. who I want to be.

Thank you! YOU ARE SIMPLY THE BEST!!!

    Re: Your Book!!

What a wonderful, beautiful comment- thank you for sharing! You know what’s interesting? I have heard from so many women of all ages how Matters of the Heart has helped them too, even though they are no longer teens! I’d like to believe that the ten matters presented in the book are universal and that regardless of age, we can all benefit from them! I thank you for your comment and I want you to know that it is never too late to look within, connect with your inner voice, and find your answers – you just have to remain open to it! I wish you all the best, and remember to….
