Just a few nights ago Matters of the Heart: A guide to living and loving your teen years was officially launched at a “book release party” in Boca Raton, Florida.  Over 70 people attended this event and I had the pleasure and honor of sharing how I was inspired and compelled to write this book.  It was such an amazing and powerful night for me that truthfully, I have not slept since! Three of the high school students who participated in the focus group prior to publishing the book sent me flowers and attended the party! Seeing them there that night and signing their own copies of Matters of the Heart was such an awesome, surreal feeling… In so many ways I feel that I am living my book and moving along the ten matters. If I ever question or doubt what is to come next in this journey, I am reminded that thoughts matter and that I must remain focused on what I want.  And what do I want?  I want to see Matters of the Heart “book clubs” all over the nation – in schools, in community centers, and in any and all possible places!
